Dato’ Dr Afifi al-Akiti, the Kuwait Fellow in Islamic Studies at the Oxford Centre for Islamic Studies, is the first-ever Malaysian to be appointed to such a prestigious position in this famous university. He will be sharing his areas of expertise in Islamic theology, law, and science and his experience as the Deputy Chairman to the High-Level Panel on the Federal Administration of Islam in Malaysia.
